Where It All Began

When Carla was a little girl, her grandmother gave her a doll she called "bebota." She held it, talked to it, slept next to it. That feeling never left her. Years later she discovered reborn babies and everything clicked — this was the thing she had been looking for her whole life. She studied them, flew across countries to learn how to make them, and didn't stop until she could create that same feeling with her own hands.
